Beginner Class With Moti And Emily In Santa Monica (8:00 PM)
Join Moti and Emily on Tuedsday nights for an ongoing 5 week progressive beginner class in Santa Monica. This class provides students with the fundamental vocabulary, techniques, and concepts necessary to build a successful foundation for Argentine tango social dancing. The class avoids the rote memorization of patterns and steps, which often leaves novice dancers fumbling on the dance floor. It instead emphasizes basic concepts of leading and following and the relationship among partners, the music, and other dancers to prepare students for any tango social dance experience. Join Moti and Sara on Thursday nights for an ongoing 5 week progressive beginner class in Hermosa Beach. This class provides students with the fundamental vocabulary, techniques, and concepts necessary to build a successful foundation for Argentine tango social dancing. The class avoids the rote memorization of patterns and steps, which often leaves novice dancers fumbling on the dance floor. It instead emphasizes basic concepts of leading and following and the relationship among partners, the music, and other dancers to prepare students for any tango social dance experience. Beginner Class With Moti And Emily In Santa Monica (8:00 PM)
Join Moti and Emily on Tuedsday nights for an ongoing 5 week progressive beginner class in Santa Monica. This class provides students with the fundamental vocabulary, techniques, and concepts necessary to build a successful foundation for Argentine tango social dancing. The class avoids the rote memorization of patterns and steps, which often leaves novice dancers fumbling on the dance floor. It instead emphasizes basic concepts of leading and following and the relationship among partners, the music, and other dancers to prepare students for any tango social dance experience. Moti's teaching style, couched in a highly-energized, yet casual and relaxed environment, allows students to learn simply, quickly, and confidently.

This class works with both open and close embrace styles and focuses heavily on improvisation, experimentation, and musical interpretation. Moti will acquaint students with the cutting edge movements associated with modern tango, but does so by retaining the classic look and vocabulary of traditional Argentine tango. This integrative approach, which combines both modern innovation and a firm respect for tradition, gives students the tools to create their own dynamic and inventive styles.

Join Moti and Emily on Tuedsday nights for an ongoing 5 week progressive beginner class in Santa Monica. This class provides students with the fundamental vocabulary, techniques, and concepts necessary to build a successful foundation for Argentine tango social dancing. Saturday night of the year, The Tango
Room
magically transforms into EL ENCUENTRO (The Encounter) ...a tango
club much like you would find in Buenos Aires,
Argentina. An intimate gathering place for the tango
experience at its raw, hypnotic, pulsating best! Please join us and step back into an era when people
dressed up and danced close. 9:30 p.m. - until the
candle lights go out. (Admission includes a light
buffet)
Well-lit parking on street and behind
the building. Several nice restaurants nearby.
Beautiful, medium-sized floor. Hosted by Julie,
Angel and Alexis.

Admission: $18 Class and Milonga
$12 class
only
$12 for milonga if you arrive between 9:30 and
10pm
$15 for milonga if you arrive after 10pm.
